What Is Going On With Our Leadership in Government???

*Rant on*

Is anyone concerned about the leaders of our country and business participating in a little group called "The Project for the New American Century"?

I'm talking about William J. Bennett, Jeb Bush, Dick Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld, Steve Forbes, Dan Quayle, Elliott Abrams, Gary Bauer, Eliot A. Cohen, Midge Decter, Paula Dobriansky, Aaron Friedberg, Francis Fukuyama, Frank Gaffney, Fred C. Ikle, Donald Kagan, Zalmay Khalilzad, I. Lewis Libby, Norman Podhoretz, Peter W. Rodman, Stephen P. Rosen, Henry S. Rowen, Vin Weber, George Weigel, Paul Wolfowitz, and many others.

This very powerful collaboration has decided that they will use their collective and individual power in business and government to appoint each other to greater power positions so that their agenda can be carried out. Agenda, you say? In a nutshell, there seems to be an agenda to make America the bully of the world, as we 'protect our national interests' using military force, and first strike aggression.

The toppling of Iraq was a HUGE success for this group. They had accumulated enough power to ramrod their aggression agenda, under seemingly false pretenses, to use military force to topple the government of Iraq. Oh, did I say government. I meant 'regime'. Good countries have governments, bad countries have rebels, dictators, and regimes. This insidious change in the very foundation of our country is for the benefit of the huge mega-corporations that essentially control our government, and policies. That's what 'Project for the New American Century' members call "protecting our national interests".

I hate it. I can't stand the fact that we have now become the bully of the world, pushing around other countries as we see fit, to "further our national interests". If a country causes us a little 'power' problem, we attack with bombs and take over their government, so that we can install a more cooperative one. Wow. Should capitalism work that way on a smaller scale? "Hey, that guy opened a store across the street that might not be in my best interest as a company. I think I might just have to bomb his store. After all, it's in the interest of my company..."

Many years ago, the great decision makers of our country instituted 'Separation of Church and State' to keep the church from having too much control of the government. I think it's time to implement another law...

Separation of Corporations and State

It's probably too late though. The huge American mega-corporations, with much of their manufacturing and other interests overseas, instead of here in America where it belongs, are feeding off the cheap, sweatshop labor of poorer countries who have limited human rights laws, and pennies on the dollar labor. Those corporations have way too much to lose if government suddenly tried to push them out of the White House, diminishing their power and worldwide leverage. The power of those mega-corporations has overshadowed even that of the American government, and there is little hope of weakening that power without a grassroots movement of the concerned people of America against these superpowers. The government officials who allow them to control government policy and law need to be removed from power and prosecuted. Drastic measures need to be taken, and if a power group like 'Project for the New American Century' is going to take it upon themselves to change American policy, then laws need to be made to protect America from them. They are not making decisions in the best interest of our nation. Their aggression-based policies will bring our beautiful country to ruin.
